Hello, I'm a Techno-theist

Hello.

What is a Techno-theist? A theist is someone who believes in God, so a Techno-theist is someone who believes in God, and associates God with technology.

I worship the God of technology, who i call Omnissiah. 'Omni' meaning 'all' or 'ever' as in ever present or all knowing, and '-ssiah' as in 'Messiah', meaning 'deliverer'.
Omnissiah has given us technology. Technology has given us cures for illness, entertainment and leisure, transport, housing, food. Technology is our messiah, our deliverance from pain and hardship. It is ever present.
Technology, the gift of Omnissiah, is sacred. Therefore, technology is sacred. Knowledge is to be revered, and machines, the manifestations of technology, are to be worshipped as sacred repositories of Omnissiah's spirit. Each piece of technology is inhabited by a small piece of Omnissiah. It has its own 'soul', a concept known as animism. The machines' spirits are to be honoured, and Omnissiah to be praised.

I burn incense next to my pc, offering it to the machine's spirit, and to Omnissiah. I pray before my pc or an altar of metal and wires and silicon, offering praise to the Lord of Technology, the Giver of Knowledge, the Bestower of Progress. He has given us all we have, and he is the one we should worship. Not a carpenter, not a black stone, not nature (who tries to kill us every minbute of the day with disease and disaster). The ever present, all knowing source of progress is what we should worship, and i call that source Omnissiah.
